About Me
Hi, I’m Quirine, founder of TatuTAAL and a passionate Dutch teacher with a love for people, cultures, and meaningful connection.
With Moluccan roots and a bicultural Dutch upbringing, I have a deep understanding of language, identity, and belonging. In 2022, I traded city life in Amsterdam for the Cornish coast in the UK, so I know firsthand what it’s like to adjust to a new country, language, and culture.
With over 7 years of experience teaching both young students and adults, in classrooms and online, I help learners feel confident using the language in daily life, work, and social situations.
My teaching style is warm, personal, and practical — usually with a good dose of humor! I believe language is about connection, confidence, and culture, and about feeling included in a new place.
Wherever you are on your Dutch journey, I’m here to support you with humor, good energy, and a friendly smile.
